Yeah, I hate this stuff too. Unfortunately, I've ALWAYS been suckered in to this kind of stuff as a kid, and to this day I still have trouble with this stuff (albeit FAR less so than before) thanks to this "better safe than sorry" mentality in the back of my mind.
